It's not near a vent. The yellow leaves are all at the base of the plant and otherwise the leaves are a very bright yellow and are still very plump (not wilted) too. In my experience, pothos are among the plants whose leaves, usually the older leaves specifically, turn yellow from lack or water, which may be caused either by the soil being too dry, or too wet.
As is the case with any plant, yellow pothos leaves aren't a good sign.
In good indoor conditions, you can expect the golden pothos to trail to 10 feet long. We have already removed a couple of other yellow leaves. I have watered and fertilized it the same all these years. My pothos has a few yellow leaves like this as well.
